How to apply

Create your online account to complete our application form. Applying will take you approximately 30 minutes.

There is no application fee.

Supporting documents

You will need to upload:

• your supporting statement and scholarship application
• a digital copy of your passport
• English language results if you need them
• digital copies of your degree certificate and official academic transcripts
• an up-to-date CV of no more than two pages
• your GMAT score, if applicable
• references

You do not need a GMAT score to apply for the Bath MBA. However, if you have one, you can submit it with your application and we will consider it alongside your other qualifications and experience.

If your official graduation documents are in a language other than English you must provide:

• official copies of the original documents
• official English translations

Supporting statement

Your supporting statement should include responses to the following questions (with a 250 word limit for each question):

1. Looking ahead five years, what impact do you hope your MBA will have on your career, leadership development, and broader aspirations, and why is the Bath MBA the right environment to help you achieve this?
2. MBA classes are strengthened by the diversity of experiences and perspectives each individual brings. What unique experiences, viewpoints or capabilities would you contribute and how have these added value in previous team or professional settings?
3. What achievement are you most proud of and what does it reveal about the values, qualities and ambitions you would bring to the Bath MBA?
4. Describe what your career will look like in one and three years’ time, after completing the MBA programme

References

Both references must be professional and one referee must be from your most recent employer.

If you are self-employed, you should provide:

• one reference from a client
• one reference from either a former line manager or an academic referee

Referees should be in a position of seniority and able to comment on your experience and suitability for the MBA.

References must be submitted as PDFs and should be written on headed paper and include a signature and official stamp.

Start your MBA application

Your application will be reviewed by our selection committee.

If you are successfully shortlisted, we’ll invite you for a video interview or offer an interview in person on campus, if suitable. MBA interviews take 30 to 40 minutes.

Once we offer you a place, you will need to pay a 10% deposit (£3,970) of the full programme fee to secure it. Your place on the programme will not be secure until you have paid your deposit.

This will be deducted from your overall fees.
