University of Bath MBA scholarships

We have funding available to support talented MBA candidates from around the world.


We offer scholarships that could help you to invest in your future and reap the rewards. These can cover all or part of your fees and are available to students from the UK and abroad.

If we award you a scholarship, you’ll be expected to act as a Bath MBA ambassador to help us attract future MBA candidates. This is a fantastic way of using your experiences to support new MBA graduates in their decision to choose Bath.

To be eligible for a scholarship you must have received an offer to study on the full-time MBA or Executive MBA programme.

We will contact you with details on how to apply for a University of Bath Scholarship once we’ve reviewed your MBA programme application and if you are invited to interview.

Finding the right scholarship for you

We have designed our scholarship awards to reflect the values of the Bath MBA. We want you to demonstrate, with practice-based examples, your outstanding business experience and knowledge.


Social Impact Scholarship

Your application should demonstrate the positive impact your work has had on the world. Tell us about the impacts made and how this has shaped your ambitions for your MBA.

Challenging Change Scholarship

Tell us your experiences of challenging change in a business environment. We want to understand how your actions created positive outcomes for others or for your organisation.

Entrepreneurship for Business Scholarship

We're looking for talented individuals with a strong record of achievement and ambition. This scholarship is open to those who can demonstrate entrepreneurial success.

Leadership Scholarship

Your application should tell us how you have applied your leadership skills in business environment and the impacts made.

Early application discount, fees and deposit

Apply before 1 March (GMT) and save £2,000 on your fees


Early application discount

An early application discount of £2,000 is available to early applicants in receipt of an offer to the full-time MBA. To qualify for this discount:

  • all applicants must pay their deposit within seven days of receipt of their offer to receive a £2,000 discount from their tuition fee
  • all scholarship holders must pay their deposit within seven days of receipt of their offer to receive a £2,000 discount from their tuition fee AND secure their scholarship
  • the early application discount is available to applications received before midnight GMT on 1 March 2024.

Application fee

A £100 application fee is payable at the point of application and is non-refundable. You can pay the fee using the University’s online payment system. Early payment of the fee will avoid delays in your application. Please note, applications will not be processed without payment of the fee.

Deposit

If we offer you a place on the programme, you will need to pay a £3,750 deposit to secure it. This can be done via the online Application Tracker.

The deposit is non-refundable unless:

  • you fail to meet the conditions of your offer
  • you fail to get a visa (if required)
  • you cancel within 14 days of payment

We will deduct the £3,750 deposit from your course fee when you register at the University.

We work with you to help identify future leaders and deliver practical education that meets your operational and strategic needs.

Your organisation may qualify for a substantial University-funded bursary if:

  • your organisation is active in the South West of the UK
  • you enrol two or more MBA students in one academic year

You’ll also benefit from student project work, MBA recruitment opportunities and other engagement.

Prodigy Finance loans

Prodigy Finance offers loans to students at top business schools, including the School of Management at the University of Bath.

Loans are for full-time students and available to over 150 nationalities.

Apply through the Prodigy Finance website.

Declaration: An entity connected to the University of Bath School of Management is an investor in MBA Community Loans PLC, which provides the finance to fund the Prodigy Finance Loan Scheme. The University of Bath School of Management may therefore benefit from any lending under the scheme.

Pay your fees in instalments

Full-time MBA

Self-funding students can pay tuition fees in one or two instalments.

There are several options for paying fees.

Executive part-time MBA

Part-time students can pay their fees in full at the start of the programme, or in up to four instalments. Payment dates are February and October.
