Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the MBA Admissions Committee.
You should submit your scholarship application alongside your application for the Bath MBA. Late submissions may be considered at the discretion of the Committee.
What to submit
Upload an essay of up to 500 words as a supporting document with the title ‘Scholarship Application’. Use your essay to tell us about:
- your experience and achievements
- your ambitions
- what you can bring to the Bath MBA
- how you will contribute to the Bath MBA community during the programme and after you graduate
Be authentic. While AI tools can support your writing, your essay should reflect your own voice, values and experience.
What happens next
Your scholarship application will be reviewed alongside your MBA application. If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to interview. We aim to make an application and scholarship decision within a week of your interview.
If you’re awarded a scholarship, the amount will be deducted from your tuition fee. You won’t need to repay it.
All scholarship recipients are expected to take part in occasional publicity and ambassador activities during the MBA and for up to three years after graduation.
Eligibility checklist
To be considered, you must:
- be fully self-funding
- be able to take up your place in September 2027
- submit your scholarship application alongside your MBA programme application
Late scholarship submissions may be considered at the discretion of the Admissions Committee
Accepting your scholarship
If you’re offered a scholarship, you’ll have four weeks to pay your deposit (10% of the course fee – £3,970) and confirm your place. If you don’t pay within four weeks, your scholarship offer may be withdrawn but your offer to study will remain valid.
